A local Leader, Army combat veteran, economic development leader, with a career spanning national security, entrepreneurship, technology commercialization, and strategic growth initiatives.
As a fifth -generation Floridian, a third-generation member of the Camp Crystal family, my roots in North Florida run deep, shaping a lifelong commitment to service and community stewardship.
As a Ranger-qualified U.S. Army Infantry Officer with the 25th Infantry Division, I led soldiers in combat during Operation Desert Storm. My military training Ranger, Airborne, Air Assault, Jungle, Northern Warfare, and NBC instilled a leadership philosophy grounded in discipline, accountability, and mission focus. I later served as Executive Director of a bipartisan national organization working to increase Veteran representation in Congress.
In the private sector, I have built and led ventures focused on population health innovation for the Military Community, early stage capital formation, university-based business acceleration, and international market expansion for small and medium-sized enterprises. As CFO of a company commercializing a patented hemp-based construction material, I work to strengthen domestic supply chains, support American agriculture, and expand and localize sustainable advanced manufacturing.
My experience also includes serving as an Advisor / Campaign Manager for several elections at every level, including a U.S. Presidential election -- Democracy Matters!
A survivor of a life-threatening brain aneurysm, I rebuilt cognitive and physical strength through discipline and perseverance an experience that reinforced my belief that leadership requires resilience, humility, and gratitude.
Across every role, my focus remains consistent: build strong institutions, expand economic opportunity, strengthen national security, and serve with steady, accountable leadership.
My Key Issues
Ban Congressional Stock Trading
I believe public service should never be used for private profit. Right now, members of Congress can vote on laws that affect entire industries while they and their families trade stocks in those same companies. Even when no rules are broken, that creates a serious conflict of interest and erodes public trust. If you’re elected to represent the American people, your focus should be on serving the district not managing a stock portfolio tied to the policies you’re voting on. That’s why I support banning members of Congress from trading individual stocks while they are in office. Lawmakers should place their investments in blind trusts or broad index funds so they cannot benefit from inside knowledge or influence. This isn’t about partisanship. It’s about restoring trust in government. When you serve in Congress, the only investment you should be making is in the people you represent.
Lower Medicare Drug Prescription
Too many seniors in our district are forced to choose between paying for their prescriptions and paying for groceries. That should never happen in the United States of America. Americans pay some of the highest drug prices in the world, even though many of these medications were developed with taxpayer support. Seniors who spent their lives working and paying into Medicare deserve affordable access to the medicines they need to stay healthy. I support policies that allow Medicare to negotiate lower prescription drug prices and bring down the cost of life-saving medications. We should also encourage competition from safe generics and hold pharmaceutical companies accountable when prices rise without justification. This isn’t about politics. It’s about common sense and dignity. No senior should have to ration their medicine just to make it through the month.
Congressional Term limits
I believe Congress was meant to be a place of public service not a lifetime career. When politicians stay in Washington for decades, they become more connected to lobbyists and party leadership than to the people back home. Term limits would help bring fresh ideas, new energy, and real accountability to Congress. It ensures that elected officials remember who they work for and why they were sent there in the first place. I support reasonable term limits so no one can stay in power indefinitely. Service in Congress should be about solving problems and representing your community not building a permanent political career. Washington works best when power rotates and new leaders have the chance to serve
Re-Localization
In Florida’s 3rd District, we have the talent, land, and innovation to build a strong local economy but too many jobs and industries have been shipped overseas. That has hurt our small towns, our farmers, and the working families who keep this region running. Re-localization means bringing production, supply chains, and investment back to communities like ours. In our district, that means supporting local agriculture, strengthening small manufacturing, investing in skilled trades, and partnering with institutions like the University of Florida to turn innovation into jobs that stay right here. When we produce more locally, our farmers get stronger markets, our small businesses grow, and our young people have a reason to build their future in this district instead of leaving it. Florida’s 3rd District shouldn’t just consume the economy we should help build it.
Paid family leave
Family should always come first. But too many people in our district are forced to choose between taking care of a newborn, helping a sick family member, or keeping their paycheck. That’s not a choice anyone should have to make. I support reasonable paid family leave policies that allow working families time to care for their loved ones without risking their financial stability. When parents can spend time with a new child, when someone can care for a sick spouse or aging parent, families are stronger and so are our communities. This isn’t about politics. It’s about recognizing that people shouldn’t be punished for taking care of the people who matter most. Strong families build strong communities, and we should support policies that make that possible.
Data Privacy
Your personal data belongs to you not big tech companies, not data brokers, and not anyone who wants to profit from your private information without your consent. Right now, too many Americans are being tracked, monitored, and sold out online without ever really knowing it. Families should not have to wonder who has their personal information, what’s being done with it, or whether it’s being used against them. I support stronger data privacy protections that give people real control over their personal information, require transparency from companies that collect it, and hold bad actors accountable when they abuse that trust. In today’s world, privacy is freedom. Protecting your personal data means protecting your family, your finances, and your future.
Minimum wage increases
In Florida’s 3rd District, we have thousands of people working hard every day whether it’s in restaurants, retail, agriculture, healthcare, or small businesses across our communities. But too many workers are still struggling to keep up with the rising cost of rent, groceries, and gas. If someone is working full time in our district, they should be able to live with dignity and support themselves and their family. That’s why I support responsible increases in the minimum wage so that pay keeps up with the real cost of living. When working people earn more, that money stays right here in our local economy supporting small businesses, restaurants, and shops throughout our communities. This isn’t about politics. It’s about making sure that hard work in Florida’s 3rd District actually pays.
